Frequently Asked Questions – Aurora LED Mask
Frequently asked questions Aurora LED Face Mask
Which wavelengths does the Aurora LED Face Mask use?
The Aurora mask combines four carefully selected wavelengths: blue light (415 nm), used for blemish-prone, acne-prone skin; yellow light (590 nm), which supports skin balance and helps reduce redness; red light (633 nm), which supports fibroblast activity and natural collagen production; and near-infrared light (850/1072 nm), which penetrates deeper and supports the deeper layers of the skin.
Which program is right for me?
The Aurora mask has 6 preset programs:
Collagen Boost (633 nm) – for skin texture and elasticity
Skin Quality (590 + 633 nm) – for a fresh, even complexion
Anti-Aging (633 + 850/1072 nm) – for firmness and skin resilience
Total Care (590 + 633 + 850/1072 nm) – comprehensive support in a single session
Anti-Acne (415 nm) – for blemish-prone, acne-prone skin
Redness Relief (590 nm) – for visible redness
What is the difference between the Aurora Face Mask and the Décolleté version?
The Aurora LED Face Mask illuminates the face with 90 professional LEDs. The Décolleté version also includes a separate décolleté piece with 57 additional LEDs, bringing the total to 147, so you can also treat your neck and upper décolleté in a single session. Both versions use the same wavelengths, programs, and controller.
How do I use the Aurora mask?
Use the mask on clean, dry skin. Use the display controller to select your program, light intensity (50%, 75%, or 100%), and timer (10, 15, or 20 minutes). The mask switches off automatically when the session ends. Preferably apply serums or creams after the session. Consistency is more important than long sessions.
Can I move around while using it?
Yes! The mask is made of flexible, soft silicone and fits precisely to the face thanks to the adjustable strap. Because it operates using the rechargeable controller (USB-C), you do not need to stay near a power outlet during the session and can move freely.
How do I clean and maintain the mask?
We recommend cleaning the mask before every session. Wipe the inside with a soft, slightly damp cloth and let the mask air-dry. Do not use harsh cleaning products and never immerse the mask in water.
What is included in the box?
Aurora LED Facial Mask, controller with display, adjustable strap, USB-C charging cable, storage pouch, and a manual (NL/EN/DE). The Décolleté version also includes the separate décolleté piece in the box.
Aurora mask safety & results
Can I use the mask during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Although red light therapy is generally well tolerated, the use of LED devices has not been specifically studied in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Therefore, always consult your doctor before using the mask.
Can I use the mask if I have a medical condition or take medication?
If you have a medical condition, are under a doctor's care, or use medication that may cause photosensitivity (such as certain antibiotics or skin medications), consult your doctor or pharmacist before using the mask.
My face feels warm or looks red after the session. Is that normal?
A slight feeling of warmth during or shortly after the session is normal and quickly fades. However, the mask should never feel hot. If the mask feels hot or the redness persists, stop using it and contact us.
I get pimples after using it. Is that normal?
Generally, no. If you use the Anti-Acne program, your skin may temporarily react during the first few weeks as impurities are brought to the surface more quickly ("purging"). This is usually short-lived. Clean the mask before every session and always use it on clean skin.
When will I see results?
This varies from person to person and depends on your skin goals. Light therapy works cumulatively: with regular use, expect a few weeks before changes may become visible, with continued support from long-term use. To maintain your results, we recommend continuing to use the mask consistently.
Is it better to use the mask in the morning or evening?
Both times are fine; consistency is more important than the time of day. Many users combine the mask with their evening routine as a moment of relaxation.
Red light therapy is a wellness application and not a substitute for medical care. Results vary from person to person; consult your doctor if you have any concerns.
