By supporting skin cell renewal, red light therapy helps to soften and reduce the appearance of scars. It improves skin texture and also provides a more even skin tone.

Accelerating Scar Healing with Photobiomodulation

Accelerate scar healing with red light therapy. Scientifically proven since 1967. Stimulates collagen. Panacea Light Therapy.

Scars – from surgery, injuries, burns, or acne – can heal more effectively with red light therapy. This is one of the oldest researched applications of photobiomodulation, with evidence dating back to 1967.

The Science

In 1967, Hungarian physician Endre Mester discovered that low-energy red laser light accelerated wound healing. Since then, hundreds of studies have confirmed that red and near-infrared light promotes all phases of scar healing: stimulation of fibroblasts for collagen production, promotion of angiogenesis for improved blood flow, and modulation of the inflammatory process.

Different Types of Scars

For hypertrophic scars and keloids, red light therapy helps normalize collagen restructuring. For atrophic scars (such as acne scars), it stimulates the production of new collagen to even out the skin surface.

The Panacea LED Mask offers a multi-wavelength approach: antimicrobial protection (415 nm), skin tone improvement (590 nm), collagen stimulation (633 nm), and deep tissue restructuring (850/1072 nm).
