The throat and neck are areas where many people hold tension and where circulation may benefit from heat and light. Near-infrared light penetrates deeper than visible red light and reaches the muscles and tissue beneath the skin.

What the research shows

Research on photobiomodulation describes increased energy production (ATP) in cells and improved local circulation after exposure to near-infrared light. This is an area that is still being extensively studied; the initial studies on illuminating the neck area are small but interesting.

How to use it

Place the panel 15 to 30 cm from the neck and illuminate it for 10 to 15 minutes per session, three to five times per week. The ATP Pro series combines 810 to 1072 nm for deeper areas with 630 and 660 nm for the skin.
