Red light therapy can provide relief from pain and stiffness, common symptoms of fibromyalgia. It offers a natural, noninvasive way to improve daily comfort.

Photobiomodulation in Fibromyalgia

Photobiomodulation for fibromyalgia: clinical studies show improvement in pain, fatigue, and sleep. Discover the ATP Pro series.

Fibromyalgia is a complex condition characterized by widespread pain, fatigue, and sleep disturbances. Photobiomodulation is increasingly being investigated as a promising complementary treatment.

Clinical Evidence

A double-blind, randomized trial (2021) using whole-body photobiomodulation found significant improvements in pain, fatigue, sleep, and quality of life after eight weeks. In a feasibility study, 57.9% reported moderate to substantial improvement, with 26.3% experiencing clinically significant improvements that were still present after 24 weeks.

Systematic Review

A systematic review in Applied Sciences (2025) supports photobiomodulation as a complementary treatment: pain relief, better sleep, and improved function through modulation of oxidative stress and enhancement of mitochondrial function.

The mechanism is multifactorial: improved cellular energy production, systemic anti-inflammatory effects, and modulation of pain signaling. The ATP Pro series with a broad wavelength spectrum is suitable for whole-body application.
